The Supreme court has adjourned the hearing of Emeka Ihedioha’s application asking for a review of the judgment that nullified his election till March 2, 2020
It would be recalled that the apex court upturned the election victory of the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Emeka Ihedioha, declaring Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the rightful winner of the Feb 2019 gubernatorial poll on Jan 15, 2020.

Dissatisfied with the judgment, the sacked Governor wrote an application to the court asking for the verdict to be revisited.
During the hearing on Tuesday, Kanu Agabi, head of Ihedioha’s legal team sought more time to enable his client gather all relevant documents regarding the case.
Justice Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, Chief Justice of Nigeria who led a 7-man panel granted Agabi’s request and hence adjourned the new hearing date for March 2, 2020.
