Did Prophet TB Joshua Predict David Lyon’s Removal? (VIDEO)

2 Min Read

Hours after his removal by the Supreme Court, ex-Bayelsa Governor-elect David Lyon’s attendance at Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) is trending online.

In a short video making the rounds, the popular prophet can be seen announcing Lyon’s presence in the Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos-based church headquarters as the congregation cheer.

Although the date the video was recorded remains unclear but it is believed to be after Lyon’s declaration as winner of the November 16, 2019 gubernatorial election since the cleric introduced him as “governor-elect”.

Prophet TB Joshua even leaves his aisle for a handshake with the then governor-elect as seen in the short video.

However, a controversial few seconds ensue in which the prophet tells David Lyon not to celebrate his victory until after his inauguration.

After a handshake with the smiling Lyon, the prophet says, “But for your information, this is not the time for testimony.

“This will come after his inauguration.”

A five-man panel of Supreme Court justices sacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate on Thursday, saying his Deputy Governor-elect, Biobarakuma Degi -Eremienyo, forged his certificates presented to INEC.

The panel led by Justice Mary Peter-Odili ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to the APC candidate and issue a fresh one to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Sen. Duoye Diri.

Lyon and Degi -Eremienyo were preparing to be inaugurated tomorrow, Friday, February 14.
