According to reports, a fire outbreak occurred in Amu market in the early hours of Saturday, January 25.
The commercial market is located at the Mushin area of Lagos state.

Sadly, shops and goods worth millions were destroyed by the fire, however a mosque close to the market was not yet affected at the time of filling this report.
The Fire fighters arrived late as majority of the shops and goods had already gone up in flames.
But the fire fighters seem to be handling the situation.
Nigerians took to twitter to share the news.
The cause of the fire is yet to be identified and no casualties have been reported
