Corps member takes her own life, leaves note to give reasons

A corps member from Kogi state, Bolufemi Princess Motunrayo, has committed suicide.

The Herald gathered that Motunrayo died after drinking two bottles of sniper, a dangerous insecticide.

The lady, who hailed from Ijumu in the state, was also a graduate of Banking and Finance from Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba.

It was learnt that she committed suicide on Friday, January 10, leaving behind a note, saying “life is not worth Living”. 

The suicide note she left behind read: “I did this because I see nothing worth living. Mummy, I love you. Daddy I love you. Matthew and John, you guys should take care. We will meet where we will depart no more. I Iove you guys.”

Earlier, The Herald reported that Ayomikun Juliana, a corps member from Osun State had reportedly lost her life due to misuse of Sniper.

Ayomikun who graduated from the Tai Solarin University of Education had gone to the salon, only to be told that she had lice on her head.

It was learnt that she bought and used the substance on her hair in the bid to get rid of the parasitic insects.

Ayomikun later covered her hair using a cap and went to bed thereafter. Sadly, she had lost consciousness when she was found the next day and efforts to keep her alive at the hospital were unsuccessful.
