A-year-old son of Mr. Nengi Talbot, Bayelsa State Commissioner for Water Resources has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The Herald gathered that the toddler, identified as Antonio, was abducted, on Sunday at about 10.30pm.
The gunmen, numbering about six were said to have stormed the Opolo Commissioners Quarters’ residence of their target and whisked away the toddler to an unknown destination.

A source, who spoke anonymously said: “the gunmen broke into the house of the commissioner and were asking, where is the money?, where is the money? “When the commissioner said there was no money, they went away with his child. “As we speak, nobody knows the whereabouts of the child as his captors were yet to establish contact with the family.”
Spokesman of the state police command, Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident. Butswat said a tactical team of the police had been deployed to ensure the arrest of the hoodlums.
According to him, “The command has launched a manhunt to rescue the victim and arrest the suspects.”
Earlier, The Herald reported that suspected gunmen reportedly killed a 72-year-old chartered accountant identified as Mutiu Agbosasa, in his retirement home in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
The Herald gathered that Agbosasa was killed in his country home after living in the United States for 45 years.
It was learnt that he was killed by hired assassins in his home in Ikorodu after he returned from a get together party with his friends in Lagos Island.
A Facebook user identified as Babatunde Naheemdeen Ayodeji reported that the chartered accountant was a respected and honest man in the United States. He said a friend of the family revealed that Agbosasa was shot dead and his remains were burnt with his vehicle.
