The Nigerian social media has been thrown into a frenzy with news of the alleged demise of former military President of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd)
However, media aide to the General, Yemi Saka who works as a Journalist with Nigeria Info 99.3 Lagos radio, has cleared the air concerning these speculations.
Saka has debunked the rumours saying it is a misinformation and the retired General is alive and doing well.

He made this known via his a facebook post.
“My attention has been drawn to a misinformation in public domain, just as I have been inundated with calls about the purported demise of General General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida(Rtd). The report is false as General Babangida(Rtd) is alive, hale and hearty.”
“The public is hereby advised to disregard such report.”
