Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke had initially shared lovely photos of her, Cubana Chief Priest and some representatives from Moet. The pictures depicted a union between Mercy and Moet in the form of an endorsement deal.
But few days after, a twitter user took to social media to condemn the endorsement deal, saying it was fake and Mercy hadn’t actually been signed by Moet Hennessy.
According to the twitter user, her source had told her Moet wasn’t signing any new ambassador at the time, therefore Mercy wasn’t a brand ambassador for the company. This news took Mercy’s fan by surprise as everyone was confused as to why Mercy would post Pictures if it was not true.
Mercy reacted to the rumour that her supposed endorsement with Moet&Chandon is a scam. Reacting to this, the reality star made a video maintaining that she is the ambassador of Moet&Chandon and advising those who are pained to drink water.
She also shared screenshots of her chat with the rep of the company, who claimed that the company does not have any ambassador programs open at the moment.
Mercy has reacted to the claim, strengthening her stand as the ambassador of Moet.
Mercy’s reaction put all the gossip to an end, but controversies stired up few weeks after it was confirmed that Cubana Chief priest had unfollowed Mercy on Instagram and also deleted her pictures.
Speculations started going round that there was probably trouble in paradise between the two as Mercy had previously called Cubana her plug.
