2023: Only a Retard will say North will rule for 100 years – Sagay mocks Ango Abdullahi

3 Min Read

Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Against Corruption (PACAC) Professor Itse Sagay (SAN) has disclosed that only a retard will say, the North can rule Nigeria for 100 years.

According to Itse who spoke to Newsmen from Daily Independent,  he said although the agreement of power rotation between the north and South was unwritten,  it has been the driving tool of peace in Nigeria for the past years

Sagay said, in order to sustain the peace, power must be shifted back to the South on the completion of President Buhari’s second tenure.

In his statement, the Senior  Advocate  of  Nigeria said it is only a retard interested in breaking Nigeria apart, will utter a ridiculous statement like the North ruling the nation for 100 years

“No rational mind will say things like that. Only an ethnic jingoist or a person who is mentally retarded and who does not have the interest of the country at heart will utter such a statement.  That statement can only come from somebody who wants us to break apart”.

Recall the Herald in its publication two weeks ago, reported that Ango Abdullahi, Chairman of Northern Elders Forum declared that the North can rule Nigeria for the next 100 years.

However,  Itse Sagay seems to share a different view from Ango Abdullahi of the Northern Elders Forum  as he shades him in statement.

“No sane person will talk in such an irresponsible manner.  The mode of exercise of power and choice of presidency has been established.  Every eight years, it moves from the North to the South and from the South to the North, depending on which region was in power at the particular time”.

“If anyone thinks he can change that, then that person does not consider the future of Nigeria. The country cannot survive any idea of a group of people in the North or South saying they will remain in power permanently without respecting the rotation rule” he said.
