The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has returned to Nigeria after her long trip to the UK.
She was reported to have arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport about 4:30am on Sunday,
Wives of some State Governors were present at the airport to receive her.
Contrary to the rumor that went viral on Friday, alleging that the first lady had arrived to disrupt a rumored wedding to take place between the President, Muhammadu Buhari and Sadia Farouq, minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development.
The video which was used to circulate this rumor, showed a woman lamenting of being locked up in a room, despite 200 soldiers guarding her.
It was also speculated that Aisha Buhari was absent from the Villa for over two months because of a rift between her and the president.
