Belgium whitewashed San Marino 9-0 to book their place in EURO 2020 continental tournament. The side which reached finished third in the FIFA 2018 World Cup in France took an unassailable 11 points to lead in Group I with the victory over San Marino.

Belgium were 6-0 at the interval with Romelu Lukaku grabbing a brace, the two goals take the Inter Milan man’s tally to 51 for Belgium making him the first player ever to score 51 goals for the country. Two own goals and Nacer Chadli and Youri Tielemans’ strikes made it six after 45 minutes of play.
Christian Benteke made it 7-0 before Yari Verschaeren scored a penalty and Timothy Castagne wrapped up the win.
Russia has 18 points and stands second on the log with Cyprus trailing by eight points. Kazakhstan is fourth with seven points while Scotland follows with six points. San Marino languishes at the bottom of the group with no point.
