Australian Tennis Player, Nick Kyrgios who smashed two racquets in obvious annoyance at his Cincinnati Masters defeat by Karen Khachanov, has been fined $25,000 and given a 16-week-ban subject to a 6months probationary period for his aggravated behavior.

After investigation, findings have revealed that Kyrgios’ “pattern of behavior” over the last one year, violates the code of the governing body.

This is not the first time Krygios will act unruly whenever he is defeated in a Tennis game.

The 24-year-old is expected to comply with certain conditions, which include avoiding any further code violations.

“Everyone, I can still play. I’m just on probation”

“I just have to keep a lid on my behaviour, that’s all”

Recall that by August ending, Umpire James Keothavong issued a warning to Nick Kyrgios for his conduct at the US Open first-round match, and the implicating statement he uttered when “he claimed the ATP was corrupt”

Kyrgios reacted to the ban by sharing an Instagram post with the caption “Guess I’m on my best behaviour for 6 months # detention”

Although, he later clarified his statement, saying it was “not the correct choice of words” even though he still believed the ATP was guilty of “double standards”.

In May, Kyrgios was given a fine after kicking a bottle, throwing down his racquet and hurling a chair at the Italian Open.
