Mohammed Buhari, son of former Head of State and All Progressives Congress leader, Mohammadu Buhari has been arrested by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission officials in connection with a N20 million fraud.
Mohammed is said to have obtained the sum of N20 million from one Mrs. Nwokocha Florence whom was introduced to him by his account officer at Ecobank.
Buhari promised to invest the money in an oil and gas business and deliver juicy returns to the victim of the fraud. He also promised to pay an annual interest of 30% on the funds to the victim, but reneged on the agreement.
EFCC sources confirmed the arrest of Mr. Buhari but declined to give further details on the case.
