Ekiti: Fayose sends deep message to Gov. Fayemi to mark his one year in office

2 Min Read

Peter Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti state has sent a congratulatory message to his successor, Governor Kayode Fayemi, to celebrate his one year in office.

The former Ekiti state Governor congratulated Governor Fayemi via a post on his verified Twitter handle.

“YE Kayode Fayemi, I wish you well as you celebrate your one year anniversary in office hopefully with “visible projects” that will speak for you tomorrow.  Above all YE, I am not eligible to contest Ekiti Guber, so let’s have some peace”

Although the two Governors allegedly have some bad blood flowing, this would not be the first time Fayose would congratulate Fayemi openly. Recall he also congratulated the present Ekiti Governor after winning the election as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF)
