About 185 adults and two infants who were successfully evacuated on Wednesday, arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 9:43.
This number is against the 320 Nigerians expected back home as scheduled by the ministry of foreign affairs.

Recall that sources at the Nigerian High Commission in Johannesburg told the Nation newspaper that the Commission had prepared the first 320 Nigerians for the first evacuation, but, the South African Immigration officials started fomenting trouble by arresting Nigerians billed to be evacuated.
The source said that the officials are demanding relevant travel documents, even as they accused the Nigerians of travelling without valid papers.
Arresting them and asking how they got into South Africa.
These moves by South Africa is in a bid to frustrate Nigerians and it’s government.
