Three of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees visited National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Wednesday night.
Sen. Gbemisola Saraki (Kwara), Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora (Lagos) and Sunday Dare (Oyo) visited the APC stalwart in his Asokoro, Abuja residence.
Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman shared a photo of the visit, which is said to be a “thank you” visit from the nominees to the party strongman.
The former Lagos State Governor is a powerful APC stalwart believed to have influenced the emergence of some ministerial nominees.
While Saraki is an ex-senator and sister to immediate-past Senate President Bukola Saraki, Dare was Tinubu’s media adviser for years and currently a National Commissioner of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
Mamora is a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and senator for Lagos East in the 6th Senate. He rejected his appointment by President Buhari to chair the Abuja Investment and Infrastructure Centre in 2018.
