Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri says President Muhammadu Buhari should have looked more towards the youth in choosing his ministerial nominees.
Recall that the Senate began the process of screening and approving the appointment of Buhari’s 43 ministers on Wednesday.
The Herald can report that 10 of the ministers had been screened by the Sen. Ahmed Lawan-led Red Chamberas at closing of Wednesday’s legislative day.
But in a post on Twitter on Thursday, Omokri, who was Special Assistant on New Media to President Jonathan, accused Buhari of appointing men whose average age is 59 and who should be preparing for retirement.
See tweet:
Do you know the average age of General @MBuhari's ministers?
59!
Don't take my word. @Google it. These are men who should be preparing for RETIREMENT. I have a question for Nigerian YOUTHS who say they are LEADERS of TOMORROW.
When is TOMORROW?#FreeLeahSharibu #RenosDarts
