Morocco anti-terrorist court in the city of Sale, on Thursday, sentenced three men to death for the murder of two Scandinavian tourists.
The two tourists, Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway, were decapitated in mid-Dec. 2018, near the tourist village of Imlil, 60 km away from the city of Marrakech.
The main defendant, Abdessamad Ejjoud, a 25-year-old street vendor, confessed the brutal slayings with two companions, Younes Ouaziyad, a 27-year-old carpenter, and Rachid Afatti, 33.
