The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila has on Thursday named the majority Principal Officers of the red chamber.
Gbajabiamila read a letter from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) nominating the principal officers.
The appointees are Alhassan Ado-Doguwa as Majority Leader, Peter Akpatason as Deputy Majority Leader, Mohammed Monguno and Chief Whip and Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as Deputy Whip.

Recall that the Speaker had yesterday appointed Ndudi Godwin Elumelu as Minority Leader; Toby Okechukwu as Deputy Minority Leader; Gideon Gwani as Minority Whip and Adesegun Adekoya as Deputy Minority Whip
He said, with today’s announcement, the leadership of the House has now been fully constituted.
