Peter Obi, the running mate of Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Candidate (PDP)’s candidate in the February 23 presidential election has insisted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has to produce its server at any cost.
According to Obi, the PDP will ensure the tribunal compels INEC to release the results of the 2019 polls from its server.
Atiku and his party are challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the election, noting that the results on the INEC server contradict the ones announced by the electoral commission.
INEC has since denied it had any server where the results of the polls were uploaded.
But speaking in Atani, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra state on Monday, Obi insisted his party won the election.
He said, “INEC must provide the server they used for the election because they know they used the server for the election and must provide it.”
