The monarchs have been directed to immediately hand over the affairs of their domains and proceed on leave pending an investigation into their alleged involvement in armed banditry activities.
The two leaders come from Maru LGthe where banditry is believed to have started when some people were killed in Langido village in 2011.
Recall that, before leaving office, former governor Abdulzi’z Yari suspended six district heads suspected to be part of the bandits menace.
