Paris Saint Germain’s prolific striker, Edison Cavani has allegedly made the decision to leave the French side for Athletico Madrid in Spain.
According to multiple sources, the 32-year-old forward would be the replacement for Diego Costa who has been having issues with the management of the club in recent months.
Luckily for PSG, Cavani’s contract would expire next summer. That means cashing in on him now would be perfect, especially because Atletico would be proposing a good deal.
Announcing the development, Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish Newspaper, revealed that some radio stations announced that personal terms between the player and the club have also been agreed upon.
Meanwhile, the out-of-favour Deigo Costa would most likely join a club in the Chinese Super League as the management look forward to end the lingering crisis between both parties
In April, Costa was banned for 8 matches as a result of his abusive statements towards a referee.
During the period, he stopped training with other teammates too.
