The Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has confirmed that the commission is investigating outgoing Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
He confirmed this in an interview with Channels Television in the United Kingdom.
However, the anti-graft boss said that he could not disclose further information in order not to jeopardise ongoing investigations.
But he said that information already in the media about the investigation is paltry compared to what the commission has on the governor.
Asked to confirm if the commission was investigating Okorocha, Magu said, “definitely”.
He added that Okorocha was not the only one being investigated.
Magu said that the commission was “investigating almost everybody”.
