Bettie Jennifer, Chris Attoh’s wife has been shot dead by a yet to be identified man in the United States.
Jennifer is said to have been on her way out of her workplace in Maryland, on Friday evening when the incident occurred.
Reports equally stated that she was walking towards the spot she parked her vehicle when a man who had armed himself with a gun, suddenly accosted her.
Although she made an attempt to flee from the scene, the unidentified man ran after her and began to shoot sporadically.
In the process, some bullets hit Jennifer, causing her to bleed to death.
Afterward, her attacker left the scene using another vehicle.
Police Department in Maryland has now declared him wanted, even though his identity is not known yet.
According to the Police, the attacker was “a black male with a thin build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”
Jennifer got married to Chris in October last year after the latter and his former wife, Damilola Adegbite, got divorced. However, the duo had a son together before calling it quits.
Meanwhile, Chris’ decision to delete all Jennifer’s pictures from his social media pages, had created some controversies, with many insinuating that his marriage with the new wife was heading for the rocks again.
