US President Donald Trump will be presenting American highest civilian honour, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom to golf legend, Tiger Woods.
Recall that Woods’ victory marked his first Masters victory in 14 years last month, after a series of back problems and personal problems threatened to end his career.
Trump, who is also an avid golfer and owner of several golf courses around the world, had congratulated Woods following his victory at Augusta.
Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!

The duo has golfed on several occasions, with the most recent one in February at the president’s course in Jupiter, Florida.
