32 internet fraudsters were on Thursday arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abeokuta.
The operatives, who were from the Ibadan zonal office of the EFCC, combed Liberty Estate, Laderin area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, arresting the suspects, aged between 15 and 39 years.

The officials recovered six exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones, several documents containing false pretences and fetish objects from the suspects.
While fourteen of them claimed to be undergraduates, 18 others said they were self-employed in various vocations.
Herald Nigeria learnt that the arrest was in response to a petition about their alleged fraudulent activities, including internet fraud through which they reportedly obtained money from unsuspecting victims.
