Officers of the Niger State Police Command have apprehended a man who claimed he killed his wife because she repeatedly denied him of sexual intercourse.
While narrating his side of the story, the suspect, Muhammed Manu, who hails from New Bussa in Niger State, stated that his wife, Bulo Hassana had formed a habit of making up stories whenever he wanted to have sex with her. Manu explained that she didn’t have the right to deny him and he continued to warn about what it could cause before he eventually shot her.
He said, “how can my wife refuse me making love to her, it is an abomination where I come from. She does not have the right to do that.
Time without number, I have been warning my wife to stop refusing me sex which is one of the fundamentals of any marriage, each time I demanded sex from she will treat me like a leper, which is unacceptable.
On this fateful day, when I pressed for sex further, she pushed me to the side and I lost my temper and killed her. She is always fond of giving excuses each time I want to make love to her.”
According to the Police spokesperson in the state, Manu has since been arrested and charged to court
