Turkish police detained 52 Syrian nationals over alleged links to Islamic State extremists in Syria, state news agency Anadolu reported on Thursday.
“Anti-terror police units raided five separate addresses in the north-western province of Bursa,’’ Anadolu said.
The report added that the detained were brought to police headquarters, without elaborating.
Ankara blames Islamic State for several attacks in Turkey between 2015 and 2017, which killed dozens of people. (dpa/NAN)
