The R.Kelly saga has now produced a couple of spin-offs with stories coming out that the singer is now threatening people who are speaking out.
Allegedly one of such people was popular comedian Dave Chapelle who did a sketch of the singer in which he made fun of his 2002 legal drama when he was accused of urinating on an underage girl.
Neal Brennan, a co-creator of the super popular ‘Chapelle Show’, sat for an interview with the breakfast club, where he narrated what R.Kelly did, revealing that the singer was not too pleased with Chapelle’s sketch which was a parody music video called, ‘Piss on You’

“R. Kelly wanted to fight Dave,” Brennan said. “Literally, his goons stepped to Dave in Chicago and Dave’s goons intervened. The goons negotiated.”
Brennan also in the interview reacted to those who said that by joking about the R.Kelly situation and other dark matters, that comedians were normalizing such behaviour.
“I don’t think people understand what comedy is supposed to do,” he told the radio show. “We will observe things, we will make fun of things. Did people want us to round up a posse and go arrest R. Kelly? Like, what were we supposed to do?”
He added, “Our job is to poke fun at things. And even if it’s bleak, we still poke fun at it. We were trying to humiliate a guy who was known for peeing.”
