Man-of-the-match, David De Gea was full of praise for his new manager after the Red Devils recorded their 6th straight win since Solskjaer’s arrival with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spaniard was in inspired form, making 11 saves to keep an impossible clean sheet.
He said that there was happiness in the team again and that this is the real Manchester United.
“The manager has brought some happiness,” De Gea told Sky Sports. “The players are playing well and the team is very strong now.
“We know how to control games, create chances, it’s very good for us. This is the real Manchester United.”

Manchester United got the win courtesy of a Marcus Rashford goal which came about after some fine work by Paul Pogba who’s influence has been growing with each passing game.
Rashford was in awe of De Gea’s display and he was quick to praise the goalkeeper, “It’s a good responsibility to have, but since this manager came in everybody has chipped in,” he said.
“Today wasn’t about the goals, it was about the goalkeeper and the saves he made were tremendous. We know that we have that at the back.”
United are well and truly in with a shout when it comes to the top 4 spot, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham also vying for a Champions League place.
