2019 Presidency: Miyetti Allah Endorses Buhari

2 Min Read

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has endorsed the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Fulani socio-cultural group announced its decision at its 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) which held at the International Women Development Centre on Thursday in Abuja.

The National President of MACBAN, Alhaji Muhammadu Kirowa, who announced the decision on behalf of the group, said it was a unanimous decision embarked on by the group in appreciation for what the Buhari administration had done in infrastructural development, youth employment and security, especially its efforts to curb incessant killings of herdsmen and farmers across the country.

Kirowa urged the leaders of the group at all levels to work towards garnering support for Buhari’s second term bid among the group’s members.

The group’s National Secretary, Alhaji Baba Ngelzarma, also hailed the present administration’s commitment towards enthroning peace among herdsmen and farmers, saying it deserved to be returned to power in 2019.

Ngelzarma said, “As a credible organisation, we do not and will not condone criminality in whatever form by our members.

“MACBAN pledges its loyalty and support to President Buhari for his laudable efforts of uniting the country, infrastructural growth of the nation and transforming the economic life of citizens for posterity.”
