With the January transfer window looming tantalizingly ahead, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has been asked if he would be dipping into the club’s considerable coffers to buy Eden Hazard.
The midfielder has been the subject of much speculation with many expecting him to leave in the Summer, but he stayed and once more, he is the topic of transfer rumours.
The citizens face Chelsea in the big match of the weekend and with Guardiola’s penchant for snapping the best wingers around, it is believed that he erhaps has an eye on the Belgian wizard.

The Spanish manager has poured cold water on the rumours though, stating that they are indeed not true.
“That is not going to happen. No,” said Guardiola when asked if the Manhester club would go for the Belgian.
When asked how dangerous the winger could be to his team in the upcoming match, the former Bayern Munich manager said: “A lot. I’m agreeing with you. He said I’m so good that I’m agreeing with him.
“Switch on the TV, look at him, immediately you realise his qualities. You [the media] know his qualities better than me. He’s an exceptional player. One, by far, one of the best players in the world.”
