PSG must be really cursing this particular international break as it has taken away two of its best players in Mbappe and Neymar.
The wonderkid and the Brazilian superstar were both injured on International duty on Tuesday night, leaving PSG in a rather tricky place.
France took on Uruguay and Mbappe started but lasted on 30 minutes before being forced off by injury
Mbappe was sent in on goal only for Uruguay goalkeeper Martín Campana to rush off his line to win the ball cleanly off the teenager’s feet
The World Cup winner was left in a heap in the ground and that was game over for him.
And If PSG was hoping that was the worst of it, boy were they wrong

Neymar was also forced off in his game against Cameroon with a thigh injury which didn’t look great. He lasted only 8 minutes
“He felt a discomfort on the right side of his groin region,” Brazil doctor Rodrigo Lasmar told Globo after the match. “He complained and underwent an early assessment, but he already began his treatment. It doesn’t seem serious at first, but we should wait and see how he develops.”
PSG have a date with Liverpool in the Champions League and they sit third on the table behind the English team and Napoli
They might now have to face such formidable opponents without two of their main men and seeing as they lost to Liverpool in the reverse fixture, this doesn’t bode well for the French Champions
Both Neymar and Mbappe have 13 goals each with the Teenager’s coming from 13 games while Neymar’s came from 15
Losing the firepower of both players means that PSG might have to rely heavily on Edison Cavani and Choupo-Moting for their goals
Of more immediate concern though, is PSG’s match against Toulouse this weekend which could see the Parisians extend their 13-game winning streak.
