Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has responded to a comment credited to Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai that there was no “brain” left within the ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
El-Rufai said this while responding to a statement from the party’s official Twitter handle in which it criticised el-Rufai’s stance on its Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In its response to el-Rufai’s comment that Obi was a bigot, the PDP had mistakenly written “advice” instead of “advise”.
But El-Rufai hit back at the party saying, “I never respond to cluelessness, compounded by bad English. There isn’t a single thinking brain left in PDP….sad, only Wendell Simlins and their sort……sigh! We will meet first on February 16, 2019 – my birthday by the way….. then March 2 in sha Allah – Goodbye…..- Nasir.”
However, Fani-Kayode, a Cambridge-trained lawyer, responded to el-Rufai in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Saturday afternoon.

Quoting el-Rufai’s statement, Fani-Kayode said, “I do not want to be too harsh on an old friend but I will say this: those that insist on remaining in the APC despite its glaring failures and incompetence have NO brain at all: they have replaced it with cow dung.”
