Being Mary Jane actress, Gabrielle Union is now a mom
The 46-year-old actress welcomed a baby girl with her basketballer husband, Dwayne Wade via a surrogate
Union took to Instagram to announce the good news using the lyrics to the popular song “Lovely Day.”
She captioned the post: “When I wake up in the mornin’ love / And the sunlight hurts my eyes / And there’s something without warning, love / Bears heavy on my mind,” she wrote. “Then I look at you / And the world’s alright with me / Just one look at you / And I know its gonna be / A lovely day / A lovely day.”
Union added: “A LOVELY DAY We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate,” she continued revealing the date of birth, “11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.”

Union said finally: “Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin @dwyanewade.”
The actress has been quite vocal about her inability to have a baby in the natural way and the couple had to go with a surrogate mother.
The two have been married since 2014 and while this is Union’s first child, it’s Wade’s 4th child having had children from other relationships.
