Nigerians have taken to social media to bare their minds on the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election in Lagos held today.
Majority of results from wards where the election held across the state showed a massive lead for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu-backed challenger, Babajide Sanwo-Olu against incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
In some of the results sighted by The Herald, Ambode failed to record any vote while Sanwo-Olu got hundreds.
While many Nigerians have urged the governor to concede defeat, many others have urged him to decamp to another party in order to realise his second-term ambition.

The #LagosAPCPrimaries means 1 of 2 things – either Sanwoolu is going to be completely loyal to Bourdillon and act only in favour of that interest or he has to fight early to establish his independence.
