From hero to zero is the story of this 54 year old driver who lost his boss’ Kia Sorento sport utility vehicle worth N5m to a prostitute he was supposed to be having relations with after putting in years of good service with his employer since 2004.
The 54 year old identified as Victor Dossa lost the vehicle to the prostitute identified as Nina when he came down to buy fuel in the vehicle at a petrol station in Ikoyi.
According to Dossa, his boss allows him to take the car home at the close of work because he lives nearby in Ikoyi crescent. On this particular night, Dossa had driven the vehicle to Obalende around 11pm to pick up Nina who is a sex worker for a one night stand at his residence.

He said further that trouble started when he decided to stop at a petrol station near his house to buy fuel seeing as he was nearly home. The 54 year had also been gullible enough to let Nina drive the vehicle from Obalende where he had picked her to Ikoyi where he lived.
And so it was Nina who suggested that Victor buy some fuel at the station after which she zoomed off with the vehicle as fuel was being dispensed in it and victor alighted to monitor the ongoing sales.
The case was been reported to the police at the Onikan Police Division and the 54 year old driver was promptly arrested.
Here Victor told the police he is a citizen of the Republic of Benin and he had met the prostitute just one week before the incident.
His words;
“I was brought to Nigeria in 2004 by the company chairman. I work with him as a driver in charge of the Kia Sorento SUV with the number plate, BDG 644 BJ. Whenever I closed from work, I parked the vehicle in my house. The following day, I would go and pick my boss from his house to the office.
My boss did not come to the office on August 17, 2018, so the vehicle was in my house throughout. Around 11pm, I drove it to Obalende to pick a sex worker whom I met a week earlier. I only know her as Nina.
On our way back to my house, she drove the vehicle while I was at the front passenger seat. She stopped at a filling station along Awolowo Road to buy fuel. She gave money to pay for the fuel. The moment I came down from the vehicle, she zoomed off. I don’t know how to locate her. I don’t know any of her friends either,” he lamented.
Dossa has been brought before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court by a on a two count of conspiracy and stealing.
