Chelsea coach, Maurizio Sarri, has said that all striker Alvaro Morata needs to start scoring again is confidence
The Spaniard has had a hard time in front of goal and has even seen himself dropped for Olivier Giroud in the Premier League.
He started the Europa League match against PAOK and while he had a lot of opportunities to score, he was unable to stick the ball in the back of the net.
Sarri was happy with the striker’s overall performance and said that he just needs some confidence to get going again.
“Alvaro has to gain confidence with one, two three goals,” Sarri told his post-match media conference. “I am not able to give him confidence.
“In this match he had three or four opportunities. He was unlucky. I hope for him in the future I can help him. But the confidence can come with goals.

“Maybe two goals in two matches, I don’t know. For the first time in this season he was ready in the box. He was on the ball and was active.”
While Morata was wasteful, so were his teammates with Sarri left frustrated that Chelsea could not add to their tally in the game even though they created 22 chances
They won the game by a single goal.
“I think that we played very well. It was difficult for people to play against us this evening. I think we were so good,” Sarri added.
“I think we were in control of the match for 90 minutes.
“We had a lot of opportunities. I am very happy with the three points, but not the result. We didn’t kill the match.”
The Blues will now turn their attention to Sunday’s game against West Ham and will seek to continue their stunning winning streak having won all their games in the Premier League so far.
