The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals has thrown up some big ties as Barcelona take on Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will play Borussia Dortmund.
For the remaining Premier League sides Chelsea will face Paris Saint-Germain, whilst David Moyes’ Manchester United side play Bayern Munich.
It’s the first time since the new formatting of the competition that all eight of the winners from the group stage have subsequently made it through to the last eight.
This is why many critics are calling the 2013/14 tournament one of the most competitive and strongest that there has ever been, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery and Zlatan Ibrahimovic strutting their stuff.
The first-leg of the quarter-finals will be played on April 1 and 2, whilst the second-legs will take place a week later on April 8 and 9.
The winners will of course progress to the two-legged semi-finals, before the final takes place at Benfica’s home the Esatdio da Luz on May 24.
