Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, has revealed a new squad role for Victor Moses. The Chelsea wide man who retired from the Super Eagle’s last 2 weeks, has featured for a paltry 11 minutes so far this campaign.
In contrast, Moses played a starring role as a right back under former manager, Antonio Conte, helping the blues to an FA Cup triumph in the process.
However, Maurizio Sarri who deploys a tactical approach of 4-3-3 has reportedly decided on fielding the former Wigan athletic attacker further up in the right wing of attack. Sarri stated that Moses must improve if he is to get his chance at Chelsea considering the huge competition for places in the club.
This would mean that Moses will have to slug it out with Belgian maestro, Eden Hazard, Brazilian winger, Willian, and former Barcelona attacker Pedro – as well as English young gun, Hudson odoi.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have shown that got what it takes to challenge for the premier league trophy with 4 victories in 4 matches.
The Blues have brushed aside Huddersfield, Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth and will hope to continue their red-hot form after the international break.
