More Americans seem disillusioned by President Trump and want Congress to begin impeachment proceedings, a new poll has found.
According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll, 49 per cent of those asked believed Congress should begin impeachment proceedings, while 46 per cent were opposed to such an idea.
It was also discovered that Trump’s disapproval rating has hit 60 percent– an all time high
The poll also showed that 60 percent of Americans are fully in support of Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian collusion for the 2016 elections.

This is quite significant as the mid-terms come over closer. If Democrats take over the house of representatives, it is believed that they could start impeachment proceedings against Trump.
There is also a growing worry that the President doesn’t appreciate the danger he’s in if Democrats take over the house and that he would need a lot of legal help– legal help he might be unable to get due to just how much of a challenge he faces
According to Bradley Moss, a Washington-based national security lawyer, “It’s always difficult to bring on top talent in the context of possible impeachment proceedings,”
“Mr Trump, however, has a less-than-stellar reputation when it comes to listening to his lawyers’ advice or keeping quiet on matters that pose significant legal jeopardy.”
Moss added; “Most of the top quality attorneys who a president would want on his staff at this point are either already representing other officials caught up in the Mueller probe or simply are not willing to put their reputations on the line for Mr Trump.”
