The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has blasted its chairman, Mr Moshood Salvador, for decamping to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a Tuesday statement by its spokesman, Gani Taofik, the party said it would not miss the ex-chairman, who it described as a “loudspeaker politician”.

PDP described Salvador as a “merchant of falsehood” and urged the APC to be wary of him.
The party further said that inordinate ambitions was propelling Salvador, who moved from the Alliance for Democracy (AD) to PDP before decamping to APC.
Reacting to Salvador’s claim that he left because he could not be in the same party with Chief Olabode George who allegedly saw him locked up for a murder case that he knew nothing about, PDP said, “Salvador is economical with the truth as Chief Bode George is rather his benefactor who once ‘made’ him a senatorial candidate and now state chairman.

“The problem with Salvador is that he is not a team player and too ambitious, interested in all opportunities.
“We will not be demoralised by his defection.
“He has never been a winner for the party.
“We are likely to feel concerned if some names touted go with him (went) but for Salvador, he is just a loudspeaker politician.”
