Speaking to the media at the official unveiling, Ronaldo said he could have made a big-money move to China or Qatar like other big stars of his age but decided against it.

The five-time FIFA Ballon D’Or winner said that by signing for Juventus he wanted to show himself to be “different” from the others.

And Cristiano Ronaldo met his new teammates:

He said,Β β€œI’m different from other players who think their careers are over when they’re my age.

β€œI want to show that I’m not like the others, I’m different.
