Governor Babangida Aliyu has reassured President Jonathan that he will be victorious at the polls after the 2015 elections.

Aliyu made the remarks during a visit by President Jonathan, Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Mu’azu and North Central states governors and lawmakers to the State for a rally.

“PDP is not wounded, PDP will continue to win elections; nobody should kill because of PDP, but let us leave our doors ajar for any returnee,” Aliyu said.

On Jonathan’s 2015 presidential aspirations, Aliyu, Chairman of the Northern State Governors’ Forum (NSGF), said, “Your days are not over in power and the let me assure you that, the North Central states are PDP.”

President Jonathan who spoke before Governor Aliyu said the opposition was like a chameleon that could not be relied upon by the electorate.

“PDP is still the dominant party for all, and it will take Nigeria to where we want to go. Together we can move faster and better in the years ahead, because we are the only party that has not changed colour, logo or name, but has remained the same,” the President said.

“Don’t allow anybody to deceive or frighten you by what they say in the television and newspapers”, Jonathan said, adding that PDP is stable and is solidly on ground in the North Central states.

The party, he said, has made remarkable impact to command the support of Nigerians, expressing the optimisms that, “PDP will retain Niger, Benue, Kogi, Plateau and retake, Nasarawa and Kwara states in the 2015 general elections”.
