Buhari Reacts to Lagos Tanker Explosion

Thursday, 28th of June 2018, will be earmarked as a sad day for Nigerians everywhere after a tanker exploded on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway destroying at least 20 cars and as many as nine bodies have been recovered so far.

There is no official body count yet.

President Buhari has expressed shock at the incident and is said to be very sad over the tragic loss of lives and property that the tanker explosion caused.

According to Channels TV, the President said; “Sadly, this seems to be one of the greatest tragedies we have seen in recent times,”

The President sent his condolences to those affected and also urged emergency services to do all they could to limit the loss of lives and property.
