2 Min Read

The security agency known as SARS has been hit by many Nigerians over their horrendous treatment of the populace– the very people they are supposed to protect.

Over the past 8 months, more and more people have stepped out to disclose their experiences with the law enforcement agency and many of these stories have been chilling.

Celebrities have not been left out and Paul Okoye, AKA Rude Boy, formerly of P-Square has also joined in calling out the security agency for all the excesses of the officers

In an expletive-filled Instagram post, the singer revealed his displeasure at the officers and the current ban on things which he feels aren’t the most important things.

He said; “F*** SARS mehn! S*** is getting out of Hand. Yet they can’t see everyday news and Videos about them. They are busy placing a ban on drinking and Smoking.”

“People are dying everyday due to generator smoke. Infact ban generator Join. Ewu”

Celebrities have complained about being harassed, for instance, Dr. Sid who was stopped around Lekki and accuse of being a Yahoo boy until the intervention of fellow celebrities saved him from their clutches. Most recently was the story of Reekado Banks who narrated how a SARS vehicle just swerved into his front and they were all asked to disembark from their car. It was only on recognising Reekado Banks that he was let go
