Sergio Ramos Is An Idiot!- Firmino Hits Out At Spanish Defender

2 Min Read

Things are heating up in the Champions League final argument over the injury to Mohamed Salah by Sergio Ramos.

The Egyptian forward was brought down by Ramos and in the process dislocated his shoulder.

There have been many arguments for and against with some blaming Ramos and others stating that it was an unfortunate accident.

Sergio Ramos himself broke his silence seemingly mocking goalkeeper Loris Karius who was said to have suffered a concussion after coming together with Ramos.

“I am only missing Roberto Firmino saying he got a cold because a drop of my sweat landed on him,” Ramos said in an interview

This line did not go down well with Liverpool forward Firmino who called the Spanish defender an idiot when he was asked his thoughts on the defenders statement.

Firmino said; “I prefer not to make any comments,”

“I think he has a view because he was the champion but I thought he was an idiot for what he said, but that’s okay.”

The striker also disclosed how he’s trying to get his Brazilian teammate Alisson to join the Reds.

Speculation has been rife with reports that Liverpool are in the hunt for the AS Roma Brazilian keeper to replace Karius who had a night to forget in Kiev.

Firmino said; “Sometimes I talk to him about it and have a joke with him, saying ‘you should come to Liverpool’,”

“His agent is sorting his future but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to have him here at Liverpool.”
