I Was Offered Billions to Destroy ADC- Chairman

2 Min Read

Following the adoption of the African Democratic Party by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s Coalition of Nigeria Movement, the National Chairman of the party Chief Ralph Nwosu disclosed how he was offered a bribe to destroy the party.

Nwosu revealed that he’d been offered an oil well and billions of dollars in return he was to destroy the party, an action that he claims he was unwilling to take.

The ADC chairman was speaking at the Greeen Legacy hall, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta while welcoming a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 governorship election in Ogun State, Gboyega Isiaka, into the party.

He, however, didn’t rat out those who made the attempted bribe

Nwosu was there with the National Secretary of the party, Abdullahi Baba,

He also batted away claims that ADC was bought up by Obasanjo’s coalition

He claimed that in his love and loyalty to the party, he’d put up over N600m in his quest to build the party.

Nwosu also spoke on how Buhari would have been an ADC member, divulging that he had approached the current President in 2006 shortly after the party’s inception and advised him to join the party because of its rich manifesto and constitution but was turned down. He then went on to accuse the APC of copying their manifesto.

Isiaka, on his part claimed that he was prepared to contest as a governorship candidate in the 2019 election in Ogun State, as he was qualified for the post.

“We are prepared to face anyone. I am running for this position because I have all the qualifications to be the governor of the state,” he said.
