APC Chairmanship: Oshiomhole Is Right Man For The Job – Sen. Sani

1 Min Read
Adams Oshiomole

Sen. Shehu Sani (APC – Kaduna Central) has thrown his support behind the former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole’s bid for the chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This followed Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Reps Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s decision to support the former labour leader’s ambition.

Majority of APC bigwigs, including National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, are against the return of 79-year-old party chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, and Oshiomhole has been tipped as the best alternative, especially since he is from the same state as the current chairman.

Sani said Oshiomhole, if elected, would help heal the wounds in the party.

Taking to his Facebook and Twitter pages on Thursday morning, he said, “Comrade Oshiomole is the best man to reposition the party, end its civil war,Cold War,internal disorder, anomie, morass and paralysis. The party is presently led by captains who have lost both control and confidence and Referees and Linesmen whose whistle and flags are not respected by the players.I wish the comrade the best of luck.

Oshiomhole is expected to officially declare his intention to run today.
