It’s official! Come this Summer, Arsenal football club will have a new manager.

Arsene Wenger announced at his press conference this morning ahead of the weekend game against West Ham that he would be stepping down from his role at the end of the season.

This would end his 22-year reign with the club and bring an end to what has been an illustrious career with Arsenal.

“After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season,” Wenegr said in a statement.

“I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years.

“I managed the club with full commitment and integrity.

“I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special.

“I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high. To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club.

“My love and support for ever.”

The Manger will leave the club with 3 Premier League titles (including the Invincibles trophy) and 6 FA cups, the most ever won by a single manager.

Arsenal still have a Semi-final with Atletico Madrid in the Europa League to contend with and still have the chance to finish the season with silverware.
