Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to being named on the latest list of alleged looters of the nation’s treasury.
Recall that Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed had on Sunday released a list of 23 names which included Fani-Kayode.

According to Information provided by the minister, Fani-Kayode, who was a key figure in the presidential campaign of then President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, alleged looted N866 million.
But reacting via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Monday morning, Fani-Kayode said, “Presidency calls Nigerians “animals” and says those that are hungry should “go and look for work!” Is it any surprise that they call members of opposition “looters” even when they havn’t been convicted by any court and are deemed innocent until proven guilty by the constitution.”

Fani-Kayode is currently facing trial before Justice Ridwan Aikawa of the Federal High Court in Lagos alongside a former Minister of State for Finance, Nenadi Usman, Danjuma Yusuf and a company, Joint Trust Dimensions Limited, on a 17-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of N4.9 billion.
